useless information

...and because Beth and I were so hopped up on winning the PF Chang's video, we up and won trivia night too :) (GeeksWhoDrink: Megan, Devon, Jane, Beth, Dave, Hung)

Trivia night, introduced to me by m'dear Pete, is officially the best thing ever. Tues & Thurs nights at Catacombs (below the Boulderado) at 9, EVERYONE is invited (I will go one of those nights, but both is too dorky even for me). Things I learned: Huey Lewis was hot and then not hot and then REALLY not hot, "albatross" means to carry a burden (ie guilt), Kirstie Alley is the spokesperson for Scientologist-based addiction support group: "Narcanon" (or as we guessed, the name of this organization is "jenny craig")

Crazy week at work... 2 year review, 2 projects at once, my editor forgot to burn our project toDVD yesterday and we were 40 minutes late to my focus group at Poudre Valley Hospital, which I got to drive our company minivan at maximum warp speed on I-25 in high wind to get to. Huzzah! Worked late all week, so I'm dawdling this morning. (tsk) The Spaniard is leaving on paternity leave, so the producers' schedules can only get crazier this summer.

Other than that... hmm. I just got my bridesmaid dress for Katie and Goon's wedding, and I'm contemplating wearing it to work every day. People might lay off a little if I'm cocooned in taffeta on a daily basis. Mr. Brian is helping me get through Season 1 of Arrested Development and every "Planet Earth," and he's the kind of kindred spirit who will take me out to breakfast at Lucille's and be fine with ordering the waffle AND eggs and splitting both. That's a good man.

Ok. It's 9:08 and I can already tell that although I've worked extra late this week, I can't sit here and dwindle when I could be buying pirate costumes for next week's shoot. This was rambly...I don't care. :)
